Only in America Only in America a president declares the end of a war and keep soldiers in the place to remind people that we are friendly to them. Heroes? The real heroes in the Obama war are the soldiers that risk their status and reputation to show the world that: " the end justify the mean" is contrary to the founder fathers sense of democracy no the ones that obey like trained dogs without regard for the civilians of any country or the citizens of their own. The heroes are the ones that defend justice and the teaching of God, Freedom and Liberty for all.WASHINGTON -The New York Times Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates on Thursday denounced the disclosure this week of 75,000 classified documents about the Afghanistan war by the Web site WikiLeaks, asserting that the security breach had endangered lives and damaged the ability of others to trust the United States government to protect their secrets. Who is sending men to war Mr. Gates? Who endanger life and property? Who are the ones that make a war against a country already devastated by the then enemies and now friends (Russians)? Who give arms to those people that are now combating against us? You shoul know that "You can trick some of the people some of the time but you can no trick all of the people all of the time" JP |
It's funny how some people disguise guilt trips to look like philanthropy Condoleezza Rice says that America is the more philanthropic country in the world. First I do not know where the failed Secretary of State get her information (probably National Enquirer, New York Times, Play Boy or any of the super big publications) Second, is not the first public, famous (or infamous) person that talk with so much knowing of cause that make people think they really got the qualifications to make statements out of conjectures. Even is the declaration were truth we should also notice the following: How to survive a guilt trip, and better yet, to be aware of an American common disease Charity Fraud.

About Michael Hastings, Lara Logan, Stanley McChrystal and so many others. The article of Hastings in the Rolling Stone Lara Logan said. "That is exactly the kind of damaging type of attitude that makes it difficult for reporters who are genuine about what they do, who don't -- I don't go around in my personal life pretending to be one thing and then being something else. I mean, I find it egregious that anyone would do that in their professional life."...from The Huffington Post Jun 30 2010. I do not know what they call democracy in South Africa, England, Canada or Russia, or any other sophisticated places where our media get theirs workers. The truth is that we are getting used so much to sweet phrases, politically correct conversations, misuse of God's name and many other lies, that only people with enough courage dare to say it (or write it) like it is. If everybody that make a living with the information racket will do his/her job right we will be not so rhetorical about freedom, justice and democracy and people will react accurately in their choices. Mss. Logan can be dumbfounded by the Rolling Stone article, she is not the only one. By the same token many people will find the attitude of General McChriystal, different to say the less. But the posture of Mss. Logan, like Bill O'Reilly and clones, Geraldo Rivera, and so many, in lower journalistic echelons than Michael Hastings, mostly associated with the stinking news channel, is just make believe, anachronistic hypocrisy in a society that not only tolerate FOX, but also watch Bravo discussing the obliteration of prostitution as we know it, MTV disrupting the concept of morality by programming the children already miseducated by Disney channel. The same community that get their opinions encapsulated from the aforementioned places and people. In conclusion, those critics of honesty, ethics and courage, try militarism as a blessing for freedom when is really the opposite, is a necessary evil. As necessary to society as amputation is to health when there are not other resources, like death to over population, like fire heat to freezing or killing animals for food. There are not beauty or romance in that. If we find glory in destruction is just because our mind have been conditioned by the merchants of guns or simply because we are bad dudes. The editor |
